Giving back: Our charitable endeavours

Hello

Having been rained off before Christmas, Penny Raby & Co (and friend) made it around a very soggy Croome Court to raise £250 for the NSPCC, for one of our charity efforts.

We regularly give to our local food bank. As a firm, we are always looking for another charity event that is feasible for our ageing bods and sometimes reluctant dogs.

We also sponsor Moose, a guide dog for the blind.

Our next venture will be in aid of Dementia UK, walking 100K during  March with the office dogs, Toffee and Oscar. Sadly, we lost Sprout our potty cocker Spaniel, last year, but we may try and borrow a third dog to make up the numbers.

Both the walking, and raising funds for charity are wonderful, teambuilding exercises for any small business, and we are very fortunate to have a great and positive group of people working for Penny Raby & Co.

They’re always thinking outside the box about how they can do a better job for the client and how the firm can do more to support the local community and chosen charities.

Of course, all these efforts are always supported with copious amounts of cake, coffee, lunches, etc., to give us all energy and more drive for the next charity event.

Cheers to you all!
